It is very rare that I am impressed with a brunch menu. That’s not to say I don’t love the usual offerings but once in a while, I find myself wishing for more than avocado on gluten-free bread. But in Sonder in Truro, they have a brunch menu that is expertly put together and you will find dishes from around the world besides the more traditional.

Usually, ask me to have spiced anything for breakfast and I would respectfully decline but I found myself intrigued by the Akuri breakfast. A scrambled egg dish usually served on toast ( I had mine with sweet potato fries as they did not have gluten free bread that day ) its chilli and spiced flavours mixed with onion and tomato was melt in your mouth delicious.

Coupled with the fantastic service, moreish white chocolate hot chocolate and striking decor I can’t recommend this place enough.

If I gave restaurants ratings, I would give this 5 out a 5 with a strong urging to go and check them out for yourself.
